• 2:00PM - 3:30PM - PRELUDE | ARRIVE, WARM-UP & WELCOME

  • Coffee and tea with light refreshments will be served. 

• 2:30PM - 4:30PM - PIANO LAB | PERFORM, LISTEN, EXPERIMENT

  • PIANO LAB embraces the spirit of a conservatory studio class—a supportive space for sharing works in progress, exploring musical ideas, and learning together. Some fluidity is expected, and the program, performers, and order of performances are subject to change without notice.

  •  ABAM program participants may submit their repertoire here.

    • • Program and performers will be announced Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

    • LECTURE:  Denis Evstuhin: Sightreading for Pianists: a practical session with strategies, techniques and practice suggestions to develop strong functional sightreading skills.

    • ART OF LISTENING: Stella Sick will guide our first exploration of interpretation through blind listening.  We will hear several pianists perform the same work, vote for the preferred interpretation, and then discover the performers' identities before discussing what made each performance distinctive.

• 4:30PM - 5:00pm - INTERMEZZO | CONNECT, REFRESH & REFLECT 

  • •  Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be served. Rising Stars cohort is expected to be here at this time.

• 5:00PM - 7:00PM - MASTER CLASS with YANYAN BAO

  • MASTER CLASS with a master teacher, and performances by members of Rising Star cohort.  Guest Artist TBA.

    • 5:00pm - Eva Brouillard (Melnichenko), Program TBA

    • 5:30pm - Sasha Evstuhina (Spector/Evstuhin), Chopin, Prelude No. 15 in D-flat Major, "Raindrop"

    • 6:00pm - Magnus Kleinhuizen (Billion), Program TBA

• 7:00PM - 8:00PM - POSTLUDE | SOCIAL HOUR
